ZDF, 2017, 3 x 45 minutes
People from three generations – for two years, we followed them closely. We take part in their wishes and dreams, success and failures. Each age has its own “life topics”. Twenty-somethings set the course ahead, for the first time in life – they want to actively shape it. The forty-somethings are in the middle of their biographical rush hour and are taking stock, while the sixty-somethings are looking for a new beginning or a way out of long-standing or difficult living situations. The diversity of the portrayed personalities and their respective social living situations make for a program that offers intriguing, emotional insight into contemporary conceptions of life.
This project is a sequel to the very successful ZDF doc series 20–40–60, aired at 22:15, in three 45-minute parts, on 6, 8 and 13 August 2013.
