reveal the beauty and majesty of this forest, through the changing seasons.
The Bohemian Forest is the origin of the Vitava River; it is the home of primeval forests, untouched peat bogs, and frothing wild streams. This archaic region, which also includes the Bavarian Forest, was long considered impenetrable and mysterious. Since the opening of the Iron Curtain, the Bavarian border population has discovered new possibilities of interacting with this unusual forest landscape.
In the summer of 2016, the FFF Film Commission Bayern granted its first television project funds for a 360° and virtual reality documentary. The Bohemian Forest uses this 360° and virtual reality experience to open a path into what is perhaps one of the most underappreciated regions of our continent.
